A northern Wisconsin Indian tribe may be interested in Al Capone's hideout near Hayward.

A northern Wisconsin Indian tribe may be interested in Al Capone's hideout near Hayward.
But the attorney for the Lac Courte Oreilles band of Lake Superior Chippewa said Thursday no decision had been made to buy the 407 acre wooded site.
It most recently operated as a seasonal bar and restaurant with guided tours focusing on the Capone lore.
Chippewa Valley Bank acquired the property for $2.6 million as the lone bidder at a sheriff's foreclosure sale last month.
