A Wisconsin Rapids businessman says he will seek the republican nomination for governor.
Scott Paterick says Wisconsin needs a fresh faced leader who can bring people together to solve the state's problems.
The 46-year-old is a financial adviser at the Investor's Choice in Wisconsin Rapids, served on the city council for four years in the 1980s and is now president of the city's police and fire commission.
Other major GOP candidates running for governor in 2010 include Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and former U.S. Rep. Mark Neumann.
