One person is dead and three are injured after two vehicles collide at an intersection.
The Pierce County Sheriffs Department says the crash happened Saturday afternoon around 4:30 at the intersection of 610th Avenue and 610th St. in Ellsworth.
Deputies say 86-year-old George Kristo of Red Wing, Minnesota didn't stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle, driven by 59-year-old Steven Pommer of Stillwater.
Kristo's wife, 80-year-old Virjean Kristo, was also riding in the vehicle. Deputies pronounced her dead at the scene.
Both Pommer and his wife, Deborah, were taken to a local hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
