A sergeant with the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says three fires near County Road HH and Lowes Creek Road are "definitely arson."
Sergeant Carl Duncan with the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says two of the fires happened on Tuesday morning. The third happened during the afternoon. He says no arrests have been made.
Duncan says a similar vehicle was seen at the scene during all the fires, but investigators have yet to find that vehicle or the owner. He did not give a description of that vehicle.
Duncan also says "similar evidence" was found at the scene of all the fires, but would not elaborate. He also did not say what was used to start the fires.
Duncan says no structures were involved in any of the fires. He says the afternoon fire scorched about five or six acres of wild land.

Sheriff Ron Cramer says a large fire has broken out near County HH and Lowes Creek Rd. in Eau Claire County. Cramer says the fire is pretty much knocked down but there is still visible smoke.
This is the third fire in that area today. The first two were located on County HH and Highway 53 near Foster. Cramer says witnesses who called in all three fires reported seeing a silver car near the scene. Detectives don't know if it was the same silver car but are investigating if it could be arson.
