Investigators say a man found dead inside a burning vehicle, died of accidental smoke inhalation.
The Sawyer County Sheriff's Department believes the man is 65-year-old Darwin Drake of Hayward.
Firefighters were called to the burning truck early Wednesday morning on County Highway B. When crews put out the fire, they found the body inside.
Deputies say Drake owned the property where the truck was found and say he had been living out of his vehicle. Investigators are still waiting for toxicology results.
