Police say a convicted sex offender will be released in late November.
Sparta police say 45-year-old Terry J. Peissig will start living on Water Street in Sparta on Tuesday, November 24th.
Online court records show Peissig was convicted of first degree sexual assault of a child in 1994 after pleading no contest to the charge.
He was then convicted of possession of child pornography as a habitual offender in 2005.
Officers will monitor Peissig electronically.
