Swine Disease

Clark County Emergency Management is dealing with the presence of a swine disease that had been eradicated from Wisconsin six years ago.

According to Emergency Management Director, Jennifer Lord Kouraichi, there are confirmed cases of pseudorabies in a Clark County swine herd.

The disease cannot be spread to humans, but it can be passed to other animals which can quickly die from contracting the virus.

An information session will be held Thursday, April 19th at 7 p.m. at the Greenwood High School.
