A man charged with beating and robbing two brothers outside a motel last year will spend time in prison.

A man charged with beating and robbing two brothers outside a motel last year will spend time in prison.
Wednesday, a court sentenced 39-year-old Arthur G. Simmons Junior to three years in prison. Simmons plead no contest to charges of theft of movable property and substantial battery with intended bodily harm.
Chippewa Falls Police say on July 24, 2008 Simmons and two others beat and robbed two men who were staying at the Indianhead Motel on Summit Avenue in Chippewa Falls.
They were arrested on August 4, 2008.
