Local fans couldn't get enough of their teams Thursday following them all the way to Madison for the state football championships.
The games didn't exactly go the way they hoped, but the bleachers were packed and the spirits were high. Three silver balls made their way back to the Chippewa Valley with some very proud fans.
Watch the video to hear the bands, from the fans and see the sights from Madison. It was an electric day!!
Here's how it went down:
Chippewa Falls McDonell lost 27-15 to defending state champ Burlington Catholic Central in the Division 7 state title game.
Eau Claire Regis played next. They ended their season with a 46-7 loss to Edgar.
The Arcadia Raiders couldn't stop St. Mary's Springs from Fond du lac, falling 42-7 in the Division 5 state title game.
