The Lake Hallie Police Department received a highway safety grant to use over the next year.
Chief Cal Smokowicz says the department will get $10,000 for speed enforcement and another $5,000 for traffic safety equipment. He says Lake Hallie will get two new moving radar units and one stationary unit and put more patrol officers on the streets.
