Man sentenced for robbing an armored car
The man who's serving a prison sentence in Minnesota for shooting a woman after taking her minivan, has now been sentenced in St. Croix County for robbing an armored car.

The man who's serving a prison sentence in Minnesota for shooting a woman after taking her minivan, has now been sentenced in St. Croix County for robbing an armored car.
32-year-old Zachary Wiegand of Dresser was sentenced today to 25 years in prison and 15 years extended supervision for robbing the armored car six years ago. Wiegand and his wife were accused of stealing $238,000 in cash from the armored car in Hudson.
The day before the robbery, Wiegand shot a woman when he tried to steal her minivan in Minnesota.
He's currently serving a 12 year prison sentence for that crime.
