A woman accused of having several cats in poor health pleads no contest to a misdemeanor.
Online court records show Jean Maderer, now of Illinois, pleaded no contest for not having proper ventilation for her animals.
Charges of mistreatment of animals causing death and obstructing an officer were dismissed. In June, investigators say they took more than 90 animals from a home in Necedah. They arrested 63-year-olds Jean Maderer and Leslie Ellis.
Juneau County sheriff's deputies say they found two dead kittens and many other cats in poor health.
