Parents Magazine is recalling about 300,000 record-a-voice cell phones.

The toys have a part that could become dislodged and swallowed by a child.

The company has received 54 reports of a pin in the flip-top hinge falling out, including at least one injury.

Target stores nationwide sold the phone between September 2006 and January 2007.

Only items bearing the date codes 090106 through 101206 are being recalled. The date code can be found on the bottom of the product packaging and in the battery compartment.

Consumers can get a refund or replacement by contacting the manufacturer, Battat, Inc., at 800-247-6144 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
