Farmers are still busy in the Badger State.
Usually by this time, most soybeans and corn crops are harvested. But the state says only 59 percent of the corn crop is in.
So to help farmers, Governor Jim Doyle issued an executive order allowing farmers to haul overweight loads on most Wisconsin roads through December.
Farmers who need to haul crops can exceed weight limits by 15 percent, but can't travel on roads with special weight restrictions or on most interstates.
