A drug raid puts three people behind bars in Eau Claire, but two more men are still on the loose. Drug Task Force Supervisor Jeff Wilson says there are arrest warrants out for 21-year-old Philip Velleux and 20-year-old Ryan Erickson. Both men are already on probation for previous drug charges.

Wilson says the task force does not have a vehicle description or a location for either man. If you have any information, please call the police at (715) 839-4972.

The raid on Agnes Street is part of another busy year for the Drug Task Force.

In February, investigators seized six ounces of cocaine and more than $4,000 in cash in a Chippewa Falls bust. Wilson says cocaine is becoming a big problem in the Chippewa Valley. This investigation also turned up cocaine and huge amounts of marijuana- some times as much as 20 to 40 pounds.

“Initially, we executed two search warrants back on the 27th of March at 720 and 720 1/2 Hobart Street. Took numerous people into custody and then executed 3 other search warrants through-out the day,” Wilson says.

Wilson says the SWAT team members arrested 32-year-old Brandi Whedbee and 20-year-old Kyle Johnson. The last raid that day was at Velleux's house on Stein Boulevard.

“When we executed the search warrant at Phil Velleux's residence, we located over five and a half pounds of marijuana as well as approximately over $7,000 of what we believe to be drug proceeds,” Wilson says.

Wilson also believes Ryan Erickson was deceiving his family into writing checks and using the money to pay for this drug ring. He says some of the checks were cashed with Velleux's name on them. Wilson says the Task Force has now arrested everyone in this drug ring, except for Velleux and Erickson.
