Cumberland man Pleads No Contest
Nicholas Larkin, 21, accused of hitting and killing his ex-girlfriend with his pick-up truck last June in Barron County, pled no contest Tuesday morning.

The Cumberland man accused of hitting and killing his ex-girlfriend with his pick-up truck last June in Barron County pled no contest Tuesday morning.

Nicholas Larkin, 21, is charged with negligent homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
>
He also pled no contest to a first offense DUI.
>
Investigators say Larkin had a blood alcohol level of .14 when he hit 19-year-old Krista Schieble.
>
Witnesses say Larkin was driving erratically and fishtailing when Schieble was hit.
>
He is scheduled to be sentenced July 20th.
