Former Eau Claire Police Officer Appears in Court
Xiong Lee, 35, accused of physically and verbally abusing his wife appears in court Monday. Lee resigned from the Eau Claire Police Department last month.

A former Eau Claire police officer accused of physically and verbally abusing his wife appeared in court Monday.

Xiong Lee, 35, is charged with felony intimidation of a victim, misdemeanor battery, and disorderly conduct.
>
According to the criminal complaint, Xiong slapped his wife and threatened to kill her, the kids and then himself, if she told police about the incident.
>
Xiong resigned from the Eau Claire Police Department last month. His preliminary hearing is set for June 17th.
