Whooping cough is not going away in Chippewa County.

In Chippewa County whooping cough is not going away.

The health department says they continue to receive reports of pertussis in the county and are urging those who aren't up to date on their immunizations, to do so.

You can contact your health provider if you're not up to date.

Otherwise, there are walk in clinic locations available May 23rd and May 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Chippewa County Department of Public Health located in the courthouse.
