Sheriff's department investigating death of 4-month-old
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a 4-month-old baby in New Auburn.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a 4-month-old baby in New Auburn.
The department says the baby was found unresponsive Friday morning at around 7 a.m. The Chippewa County Coroner and investigators from the Sheriff's Department have taken the baby's body to the Ramsey Medical Center where an autopsy will be conducted.
Deputies say the Chippewa County Department of Human Services is also involved in the investigation.
The department is not releasing further details until the results of the autopsy are received by the Sheriff's Department.
