A Polk County man accused of abducting his ex-girlfriend in Menomonie last month appeared in court Wednesday morning for his initial appearance.

Mark Harper was arrested on April 19th after police say he pulled the woman into his truck and took off.
>
Dunn County Sheriff Dennis Smith says the woman was dropped off unharmed early the next day and officers arrested Harper a couple hours later.
