The Milwaukee Brewers reached the 2 million mark in ticket sales Wednesday.

Attendance at Miller Park is running 31 percent ahead of last year.

In fact, the Brewers say it took until July 5th last year to reach 2 million in ticket sales.

It's the 2nd fastest climb to the milestone in team history. Only the 2001 inaugural year at Miller Park brought the Brewers to the 2 million mark faster.

Through 24 home games, the Brewers average attendance is about 31,000, compared to about 24,000 in 2006.
