The fiancée of a woman who's infant was found dead Friday morning says the child was "ice cold" when he checked on the baby.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating the baby's death. The fiancée tells us he found the child unresponsive around 7 a.m. Friday in a mobile home park on South East Street in New Auburn when he went to check on him and his twin brother.
The man says he last fed the baby between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday night and that he put the baby on its stomach.
The Chippewa County coroner pronounced the infant dead at the scene. An autopsy is underway.
