Police arrested a man Thursday at a Wal-Mart after they say he pulled out a hunting knife near a cashier.
The Lake Hallie Police Department says an employee was closing out a cash register when the man walked by her and said he needed some money. Officers say he then pulled out a hunting knife and took it out of its sheath.
He didn't point it at anyone, but employees felt it was intimidation. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
The police chief says it's not illegal to have a sheathed hunting knife. He says to display it and make a statement like that isn't smart. The man's name hasn't been released.
