Wisconsin Gasoline Average Tops Two Bucks

It's a record-setting week for gas prices in the Badger State. Surveys show a gallon of gas exceeded $2 a gallon as of Friday.

On Monday Wisconsin's average gas price was $1.96, which broke the old statewide record from four years ago.

Prices range from $1.97 a gallon in Sun Prairie to $2.14 per gallon in Milwaukee and $2.04 in Eau Claire as of Friday.

The Wisconsin American Automobile Association says the average price of $2.01 for a gallon of unleaded regular gas is 47-cents more than a year ago, and $0.19 more than just a month ago.
