Animals Need Homes

Spring is usually a busy time of year for the Eau Claire County Humane Association, but for the last few months, they've been unusually busy.

A humane association official says business never let up during the winter months, when they are normally able to downsize.

That coupled with spring litters is causing overflow at the shelter.

Shelter workers say they are looking into other options, such as foster homes to help ease the burden, but they say the best solution is always adoption.
