Dr. Peter Chambers came home to Neillsville after serving three months in Kuwait and Iraq only to find out he couldn't go back to work at the Neillsville Memorial Medical Center.
It's a move that has the town upset and Sunday they held a town meeting to discuss the situation.
The meeting focused on the hospital and its procedures.
Around 150 people filled an old church building with questions about the situation.
However, many of the questions weren't answered because Dr. Chambers or anybody from the hospital never came to the meeting even though each board member along with the administrator received invitations to attend.
Organizers say all the questions from the meeting will be formally given to the hospital board to answer.
