Janklow was convicted in a crash last August that killed a motorcyclist.
A jury found him guilty of speeding, running a stop sign, reckless driving and second degree manslaughter.
In addition to jail time, Janklow has been fined more than $57,000 and ordered to pay $5,000 for his incarceration.
He also is on probation for three years, during which he won't be allowed to drive. Janklow is appealing the manslaughter and reckless driving convictions.
