The opening of the first homeless shelter in Chippewa Falls will be delayed.
Mary Clay Santineau with Starting Points says there is a delay in getting the new windows put in at the shelter. She says they expect to be open for its first residents Tuesday or Wednesday.
Starting Points is a non-profit organization that spent nearly $350,000 buying and fixing up a 7 bedroom house.
The shelter is located on the 600 block of Bay Street in Chippewa Falls.
