Thanks to some generous farmers in the area, some military families will be able to put their presents under a tree this year.
Tree farmers from around the state are donating trees through the Trees for Troops program.
Monday, volunteers collected trees at the Pleasant Valley Tree Farm in Elk Mound. The trees are delivered to U.S. military bases, as well as military bases overseas
This year, hundreds of trees are expected to be donated in Wisconsin and 15,000 are expected nationwide.
