According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in five children are approached and receive unwanted sexual solicitations.

A new campaign kicked off around the nation and in Eau Claire Wednesday at South Middle School, and sixth graders and parents learned how to "Help Delete Online Predators."

An undercover Investigator as well as local law enforcement spoke about tips to stay sage and even talked about a recent sting operation of an internet predator in Eau Claire.
"It's one thing for students to be hearing from teachers," says Technology Coordinator Greg Dawald. "But to have the Criminal Investigation Bureau here and the Attorney General's office represented and sharing with them how important these things are madea major impact on a number of students."

If you would like more information on the campaign or on how to protect your children, contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children: 1-800-THE-LOST or www.cybertipline.com
