Wisconsin Army National Guard Deployed
Soldiers from the Wisconsin Army National Guard in Merrill and Antigo are being sent to Iraq.

Dozens of soldiers from the Wisconsin Army National Guard in Merrill and Antigo are being sent to Iraq, they started the deployment process Monday.

They're from Troop "E" out of the 105th cavalry. They're heading to Volk Field, then to Mississippi for two months of training. They're expected to be in Iraq for 10 months. This mobilization means about 1,100 Wisconsin Army and Air National Guard members are on active duty.
