A UW-La Crosse freshman is expected to be charged Tuesday for lying to police investigating the death of a fellow student last fall.
>
A La Crosse County Deputy District Attorney says the student lied about several "important facts" during the investigation of the death of Lucas Homan, 21.
>
Homan disappeared after drinking downtown during the city's Oktoberfest celebration last fall.
>
Prosecutors say a teammate on the UW-L basketball team will be charged with two misdemeanor counts of obstructing officers.
>
He says the student is not a suspect in Homan's death, which is still under investigation.
