Governor Doyle visits La Crosse
Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle visited La Crosse Tuesday for the La Crosse Area Development Corporation's annual meeting.

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle visited La Crosse Tuesday for the La Crosse Area Development Corporation's annual meeting.
Doyle announced that about $400,000 in funds will be given to La Crosse and Prairie Du Chien to help clean up contaminated properties. The La Crosse Industrial Park Corporation will get $200,000 for demolition and clean-up at the former Trane Company's Plant 6 site on the city's north side.
Prairie Du Chien will get about $190,000 in a loan to help the city clean up an industrial site downtown.
