A group of fifth graders are donating more than just their time to the people and families at the Bolton Refuge House.

A group of fifth graders are donating more than just their time to the people and families at the Bolton Refuge House.
Thirty-six students from Immaculate Conception in Eau Claire went to Wal-Mart and Macy’s Friday morning to buy 50 gifts for the shelter. Parents wrapped the gifts Friday afternoon and plan to deliver to Bolton Refuge House next week.
Students also wrote more than 200 letters to Santa. For each letter, Macy’s donates a dollar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Paula Frank with Immaculate Conception says the school does a project for charity every year during the holiday season.
