Buckle Up or Pay the Price
Automobile crashes have claimed the lives of 240 Wisconsin residents this year. With Memorial Day Weekend approaching, law enforcement personnel around the state are taking greater measures to prevent fatalities.
They have launched a campaign called "Buckle Up or Pay The Price." Over the next two weeks, patrols on local streets and Highways will increase, while officers will impose a 'no tolerance' policy on seatbelt use.
