Updated Story:
While the Barron County Sheriff says they’re not related, neighbors say they're nervous.
Day care owner Debbie Deason says she's surprised stray bullets are flying through the fields around her home in Prairie Farm.
"My neighbor came to me on Saturday and asked if I heard shots between one and four, and I said no, I wasn't home. He explained to me that a bullet went through his daughter's car," she says.
The Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says a bullet went through Mandi Seeger's car, which was parked outside her dad's house.
"We had found a bullet hole in the rear driver's side window all the way through the front passenger side window, and then into a garage, and the bullet wasn't located,” says Fitzgerald.
With recent shootings of horses and cows in the area, Deason says she's not sure if her kids are safe outside.
“They want to come out and play but it's on my mind. Do I let them or do I not let them?” says Deason.
The sheriff says it's just a coincidence.
"While they're in the same general area, they don't believe they're related in any way," says Fitzgerald.
But both say it's still scary.
"I think it's shocking that if you park your car in your driveway, you don't expect it to be shot at," says Fitzgerald.
"You never know what's going to happen next," says Deason.
Sheriff Fitzgerald says there were hunters in the area on Saturday, but investigators have not been able to reach them.
The Barron County Sheriff's Department would like to remind hunters, no matter the season, to always know what's beyond your target, before you pull the trigger.

The sheriff's department says on Friday, Mandi Seeger reported that her car window was shot out while it was parked at her dad's house north of Prairie Farm.
