The Chippewa County Coroner Kay Gerrits says a test will be conducted on Russel Plummer for Carbon Monoxide poisoning after Plummer's mother says Plummer’s car had been left running when he died.
The test was ordered on Friday and will take place in Ramsey, Minnesota. No word on when results will be available.
Plummer went missing in November and was found dead in the Chippewa County Forest. Autopsy results showed he died of hypothermia due to exposure, and the toxicology report showed there were no drugs or alcohol in his system.
