Sheriff's officials say 18-year-old Brent Zondlo of Rib Lake was traveling in the town of Westboro, about 15 miles north of Medford and missed a corner.
They say the truck ultimately came to rest against a tree. Zondlo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers were treated for minor injuries.
