7th annual Steak and Burger Dinner raises more than $80,000

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - It was a record breaking night for the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley. It raised the most money ever at its 7th annual Steak and Burger Dinner Thursday night.

Organizers say it brought in $81,700.

As the name suggests, the event serves steaks and burgers, but the tables are switched for the evening with the kids getting to enjoy the steak.

Thursday night's event had a 50's theme, with the slogan, let the good times roll.

WEAU’s own Bob Gallaher was once again the emcee of the event.
