A convicted murderer and sex offender was released Tuesday.
The Neillsville police department says 40-year-old Gary Theide will live in Clark County. The brother of one of his victims says Thiede shouldn't be released.
Jayson Crow Senior is petitioning to keep all people convicted of second degree murder locked up. He says he still has nightmares of the day he found his older brother shot and stabbed. Robert Aponte was 16 when he was killed in 1988.
Police say Thiede's criminal history shows he could have the potential to re-offend. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections will supervise Thiede until September of 2016.
