Wisconsinites who want a heads-up before crews apply pesticides in their neighborhood need to sign up on a free state registry or renew their registration by February 1.
Professional lawn and landscape companies have to give those of you who end up on the list 12 hours notice. Then they can treat lawns, trees, and shrubs at the address you put on the list.
The state says it lets people keep their windows closed on the day of the treatment or keep their kids and pets inside.
