The Pierce County sheriff's department says the accident occurred in rural Ellsworth Township last evening.
Three-year-old Tristen Lacy was behind the tractor while his father, Jeffery Lacy, was backing it up...when he ran over the boy.
His injuries and condition have not been released. The incident is still under investigation.
