Mauston police officer dies after brief illness
An officer with the Mauston Police Department died overnight.

An officer with the Mauston Police Department died overnight.
Twenty-nine-year-old Officer Andrew O. Peterson died at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a seven year veteran of the department.
Peterson left behind a wife and three young children. City flags have been ordered to half staff until further notice.
