Less than a week after she won the recall election, the new Bloomer mayor was sworn in.

Less than a week after she won the recall election, the new Bloomer mayor was sworn in.
Janet Thur officially started her term as mayor Monday.
She won the election over long-time incumbent Randy Summerfield by 18 votes.
Petitioners recalled Summerfield after he fired a police officer while the police chief was on leave.
