UPDATE: Teen killed and two others hurt in snowmobile crash
The Rusk County Sheriff's Department says 16-year-old Michael Alexander of Bruce was killed in a snowmobile crash that happened Tuesday.
A 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old Rice Lake man were taken to the hospital. Deputies say the two snowmobiles hit head-on on a trail in Bruce. The crash is still under investigation.
There were counselors at the school in Bruce Wednesday.

Three people were hurt when two snowmobiles crashed head-on.
It happened in Bruce Tuesday afternoon. Rusk County deputies say two snowmobiles crashed on a snowmobile trail. Rescue crews say three people were hurt, but the extent of their injuries is unknown. The crash is under investigation by the DNR and Rusk County Sheriff's Department.
