The legal fight over a 300-mile pipeline project across Wisconsin is over in Wood County Circuit Court.

Wednesday, a judge ruled in favor of Enbridge Energy and gave the company the easements needed to finish its pair of 321-mile pipelines from Superior to Delavan in southeast Wisconsin.

The lines will eventually carry 400,000 barrels of oil each day from Alberta, Canada. Twenty-seven landowners in the county were named in the lawsuit.
