WI Severe Weather

One death is reported from the severe storms and tornadoes that blasted much of Wisconsin last night.

In Green Lake County, a man was killed and a woman suffered life-threatening injuries in the storm. Their names are being withheld pending the notification of relatives.

In Monroe County, the National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in the nearby Jellystone Park Campground. Three injuries have been reported, two of them caused as the twister went through the campground.

There were also scattered damage reports from buildings, power lines, trees and vehicles throughout Jackson, Wood, Adams, and Portage counties.

Strong winds and marble size hail were reported throughout central Wisconsin as the line moved through.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department says there were injuries after a tornado touched down in the rural Easton area.

In Waupaca County, a suspected tornado hit four to five miles south of Waupaca.

And in Madison, a tornado touched down in the southwestern part of the city, damaging a shopping center.
