State Superintendent Elizabeth Burmaster hosted a listening session at the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley Thursday morning with many representatives from many area groups in attendance.
She has held numerous forums across the state in hopes of helping organizations connect to benefit children.
After a presentation on how to obtain more information on government grants, attendees broke into small groups and discussed ways to benefit each other in the future.
"The education of our children has to be our top priority. The way we can really come together now is through networking and partnerships between the schools and community leaders," Burmaster said.
