Millions of dollars in damage is being attributed to Wednesday night's fast moving, brief storm.
Fifty-three-year-old Arnold Gallenbeck lives in Green Lake County. A tornado tore apart his home near Markesan, critically injuring his wife.
Damage costs are climbing with an estimated $3 million in Dodge County. At least $1 million of that is the city of Waupun, where winds reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
In Madison where officials put costs into the millions, downed trees caused much of the damage, and in Montello near Madison a tornado is said to be responsible for numerous downed power lines, a hazard that closed down city streets Wednesday night.
