The Governor says he doesn't support the Assembly's budget.

With accusations between state Democrats and Republicans over the upcoming 2-year budget, Governor Jim Doyle was in La Crosse on Monday to talk about it.
>
Doyle spoke at fire station number #3 and says he does not support the Republican-controlled Assembly's budget. Pointing towards civic services, the Democratic governor says if the Republican budget passes, it would mean fewer police, firefighters and teachers for La Crosse.
>
"This budget cuts $130 million out of our public schools, which would eliminate 1,700 teachers across the state of Wisconsin," says Doyle.
>
The Governor says the budget cuts, from the Republican plan, would total $1.1 million in La Crosse County alone.
